Slate with Florals
For this beautiful, modern set, we chose cream and white blooms with lots of texture and cream-toned bleached elements.
Oh, Slate, you are good-looking. You are modern and edgy, and we love you!
For the florals for this beautiful, modern set, we chose cream and white blooms with lots of texture and cream-toned bleached elements.
The Slate bouquet is a perfect blend of soft, open blooms and blooms with a linear structure. The focus of this bouquet is to blend the modern, edgy design of slate with a feminine, large-bloom feel. Slate does not have any greenery added into the design; the only green that you see is the natural tone of the stem. The “greenery” that was chosen is a modern, bleached greenery. It is elegant and unique. For the bouquet, we wrapped it all up with a cream raw silk ribbon.
The vessel we chose for Slate is at the tippy-top of our favorites list. It is a low black bowl with delicate ribbing. The florals sit low in the vessel and have cream-toned bleached fern and cream deer moss at the base. Rising from the base is a variety of white blooms. We felt the overall design needed to continue with the modern feel but show off the use of beautiful white blooms: modern without being harsh.
The statement pieces for Slate are our most involved, having the most elements. We designed four concrete gray square columns, two large and two small. We will add two candle elements in glass square boxes. The floral vessels for this set are a statement in themselves: the black concrete vessels are the perfect size for the large columns. We love the blend of cream and white blooms, cream-toned bleached fern, and cream deer moss in the large black vessels.
If you are choosing the non-floral version of Slate, you didn’t make a bad design; it is full, and the columns are so versatile you can literally use them anywhere.
